A Pennsylvania-based, non-profit association for technology development with more than 17,000 members in over 70 countries.

Objective

The client’s conference is a collaboration of 10 science-related professional associations whose U.S.-based and international members attend to discuss the state of the steel technology sector, industry leadership, and workforce diversity. Attendees are generally aged 25-35 and employed across various engineering professions.
They needed an advanced audience polling solution to fulfill 4 components that were vital to the success of the conference:

1) An interactive and fun learning session.

2) Seamless integration with Keynote and PowerPoint.

3) FM frequency for high confidentiality.

4) Anonymous data collection.

Solution & Benefits

We recommended the Reply Plus Mini keypad audience response system (ARS) to effectively engage and securely collect data from the client’s group of 100 attendees.
Using the keypad system and our proprietary stand-alone polling software, participants gave instant, simultaneous feedback on questions regarding leadership and diversity in their industry, with full anonymity.
With the Reply Plus Mini keypad system, presenters delivered a positive and engaging session while gathering honest and valuable feedback, in real time, on participants’ demographics, industry knowledge, and preconceptions. The immediacy of data collection also helped to pin-point and resolve any misconceptions about topics being presented, on the spot.
By using the keypads, the client’s 4 key objectives were achieved, while both audience members and presenters benefited from rich levels of interactivity, a two-way communication flow, and real-time data.
Upon conclusion, the presenters received all data reports on site and information from the session was safely preserved on a secure server for the client’s future reference.
